DESCRIPTION:ARRT certification and/or a fully unrestricted state licen
 se are required for admission to the Mammography Initial Training co
 urse.\nThe curriculum for \"Mammography Initial Training Option 2\" w
 ill provide the technologist with all the required components of train
 ing as outlined by MQSA.  The course includes: 24 hours of training o
 n the core competencies as outlined by MQSA, 8 hours of Digital Mammog
 raphy Modality Specific Training, and 8 hours of Tomosynthesis Modalit
 y Specific Training.  \nYou will be awarded 40 hours of Category A cr
 edit for the five day course.  The course satisfies the 16 hours of s
 tructured education requirement to apply for the ARRT Post-Primary Mam
 mography Certification Examination.  This course also meets the guide
