 l MQSA Training Requirement for Mammography If you are looking for a c
 omprehensive course on mammography skill training and enhancement, thi
 s is the course for you! You will cover every aspect of a mammography 
 procedure required to meet initial training requirements as outlined b
 y MQSA. The topics covered will include anatomy and physiology, hands-
 on positioning lab, film critique sessions and clinical participation.
  Quality control, pathology, special procedures and imaging the augmen
 ted breast are a must for the new mammography technologist and will be
  covered in detail as highlights in this class. The instructional mate
 rial provided is a great resource once you return to the workplace.\nT
 his practical approach to learning mammography is applicable to all te
 chnologists performing mammography. Professional liability insurance i
 s provided for on-site clinical rotations. Clinical dress codes apply 
 for the clinical rotations. ARRT certification and/or a fully unrestri
 cted state license are required for admission to the training. Registr
 ation must be received at three weeks in advance for Option 2 to assur
 e clinical rotation sites. This course has been evaluated and meets th
 e 40 contact hour initial training requirements as mandated by the MQS
 A standards for the FDA. You will also receive 32 hours Category A cre
 dit. This course meets the guidelines for states requiring special edu
 cation for mammography.\nThe following information is required for enr
 ollment in class:\n\nA copy of professional certificate and state lice
 nsure (if applicable)\nA copy of your supervising technologist(s) ARRT
  card and state licensure card (if applicable)\nA signed supervising t
 echnologist credentialing form\n\n**When you register you will be sent
  information via email regarding the required documents to complete en
 rollment. This information must be provided 2 weeks prior to the first
  day of class.\n**Participants in this class who will be performing cl
 inical examinations in a digital mammography department or wish to mee
 t initial requirements in film-screen and digital mammography must reg
