DESCRIPTION:Register early and save! Please register early and reserve
  your place by providing payment to avoid an additional $25 fee requir
 ed for registrations given within two (2) weeks of the course.\nThe cu
 rriculum will provide the technologist with all of the required compon
 ents of training as outlined by MQSA and award 32 hours of Category A 
 CE credit for the four day course. Additionally, technologist may comp
 lete the eight hour Digital Breast Tomosynthesis on the Monday followi
 ng the training course. The course satisfies the eight hour MQSA modal
 ity training requirement for DBT.\nYou will cover every aspect of a ma
 mmography procedure required to meet initial training requirements as 
 outlined by MQSA. The topics covered will include anatomy and physiolo
 gy, hands-on positioning lab, film critique sessions and clinical part
 icipation, quality assurance, pathology, special procedures, imaging t
 he augmented breast and eight hours of full field digital mammography 
 is a requirement for the new mammography technologist whose primary im
 aging modality will be digital mammography.\n**If you are currently us
 ing film screen at your facility you must add the eight hour “Film S
 creen Modality Initial Training” video to your registration.  The m
 ammography video covers all of the film screen modality requirements a
 nd should be viewed and post test completed prior to attending the cou
 rse.\nThe MQSA training requirements for 40 hours will be accomplished
  by completing the 32 hour training course (40 hours for those requiri
 ng film screen modality specific traning) and documenting performance 
 of 25 hands-on supervised mammography procedures. AHEC offers two opti
 ons for completion of the clinical component of the training.\n\n\nFor
