Yo u will cover every aspect of a mammography procedure required to meet initial training requirements as outlined by MQSA . The topics covered will include anatomy and physiology hands-on positioning lab, film cr itique sessions and clinical participation. Quality assurance and path ology are also highlights in this class. The instructional material pr ovided is a great resource once you return to the workplace.\nThis pra ctical approach to learning mammography is applicable to all technolog ists performing mammography. Professional liability insurance is provi ded for clinical rotations. Clinical dress codes apply for the clinica l rotations. ARRT certification and/or a fully unrestricted state lice nse is required for admission to the training. Registration must be re ceived at least two weeks in advance to assure clinical sites. This cl ass is approved by the ASRT for 32 Hours Category A credit. It has bee n evaluated and meets the 40 contact hour initial training requirement s as mandated by the MQSA standards for the FDA.
