You will cover every aspect of a mammography procedure require d to meet initial training requirements as outlined by MQSA . The topi cs covered will include anatomy and physiology hands-on positioning la b, film critique sessions and clinical participation. Quality assuranc e and pathology are also highlights in this class. The instructional m aterial provided is a great resource once you return to the workplace. \nThis practical approach to learning mammography is applicable to all technologists performing mammography. Professional liability insuranc e is provided for clinical rotations. Clinical dress codes apply for t he clinical rotations. ARRT certification and/or a fully unrestricted state license is required for admission to the training. Registration must be received at least two weeks in advance to assure clinical site s. This class is approved by the ASRT for 32 Hours Category A credit. It has been evaluated and meets the 40 contact hour initial training r equirements as mandated by the MQSA standards for the FDA.
