You will cover every aspect of a mammography proc edure required to meet initial training requirements as outlined by MQ SA . The topics covered will include anatomy and physiology hands-on p ositioning lab, film critique sessions and clinical participation. Qua lity assurance and pathology are also highlights in this class. The in structional material provided is a great resource once you return to t he workplace.\nThis practical approach to learning mammography is appl icable to all technologists performing mammography. Professional liabi lity insurance is provided for clinical rotations. Clinical dress code s apply for the clinical rotations. ARRT certification and/or a fully unrestricted state license is required for admission to the training. Registration must be received at least two weeks in advance to assure clinical sites. This class is approved by the ASRT for 32 Hours Catego ry A credit. It has been evaluated and meets the 40 contact hour initi al training requirements as mandated by the MQSA standards for the FDA .
