 raining Requirement for Mammography\nIf you are looking for a comprehe
 nsive course on mammography skill training and enhancement, this is th
 e course for you! You will cover every aspect of a mammography procedu
 re required to meet initial training requirements as outlined by MQSA 
 . The topics covered will include anatomy and physiology hands-on posi
 tioning lab, film critique sessions and clinical participation. Qualit
 y assurance and pathology are also highlights in this class. The instr
 uctional material provided is a great resource once you return to the 
 workplace.\nThis practical approach to learning mammography is applica
 ble to all technologists performing mammography. Professional liabilit
 y insurance is provided for clinical rotations. Clinical dress codes a
 pply for the clinical rotations. ARRT certification and/or a fully unr
 estricted state license is required for admission to the training. Reg
 istration must be received at least two weeks in advance to assure cli
 nical sites. This class is approved by the ASRT for 32 Hours Category 
 A credit. It has been evaluated and meets the 40 contact hour initial 
 training requirements as mandated by the MQSA standards for the FDA. I
 t meets the guidelines for states requiring special education for mamm
 ography.\n**Participants in this class who will be performing clinical
  examinations in a digital mammography department or wish to meet init
 ial requirements in film-screen and digital mammography must register

 y Standards Act (MQSA) became effective that required entry level trai
 ning for mammography including the perfor-mance of 25 patient procedur
 es under the super-vision of a qualified mammographer. Advanced Health
