You will cover every aspect of a mammography procedure required to me et initial training requirements as outlined by MQSA . The topics cove red will include anatomy and physiology hands-on positioning lab, film critique sessions and clinical participation. Quality assurance and p athology are also highlights in this class. The instructional material provided is a great resource once you return to the workplace.\nThis practical approach to learning mammography is applicable to all techno logists performing mammography. Professional liability insurance is pr ovided for clinical rotations. Clinical dress codes apply for the clin ical rotations. ARRT certification and/or a fully unrestricted state l icense is required for admission to the training. Registration must be received at least two weeks in advance to assure clinical sites. This class is approved by the ASRT for 32 Hours Category A credit. It has been evaluated and meets the 40 contact hour initial training requirem ents as mandated by the MQSA standards for the FDA.
