 he healthcare professional using ultrasound to provide enhancement to 
 the obstetrical examination. This course will provide a valuable combi
 nation of lecture, demonstration and in-house scan lab experience with
  live models. Content presented will include an introduction to ultras
 ound physics, instrumentation, and pelvic anatomy (both normal and abn
 ormal). Time will be dedicated to both transabdominal and endovaginal 
 scanning techniques and basic fetal and amniotic fluid measurements. P
 rovided in our onsite scan lab will be a diverse selection of ultrasou
 nd equipment to be used under the guidance of course faculty.\n\nObjec
 tives\nAt the completion of the course, the learner will be able to:\n
 • Utilize the principles of instrumentation to prepare ultrasound eq
 uipment for the examination.\n• Recognize normal and abnormal pelvic
