DESCRIPTION:The Leading Edge is the annual educational conference of
  the Jefferson Ultrasound Institute. The conference provides updates o
 n the major specialty areas and overviews of the \"hot\" topics in dia
 gnostic ultrasound. The Leading Edge program has established a reputat
 ion for excellence since its debut in 1980. The program is designed to
  meet the educational and CME needs of physicians, sonographers, vascu
 lar technologists, nurse midwives and other participants. Parallel tra
 cks allow the attendees to create a \"custom\" program that addresses 
 the areas of most interest to them. The major themes that will be cove
 red in the 2014 Leading Edge program include Women's Imaging, Vascular
  Imaging and Doppler, a Principles Tune-Up, Musculoskeletal Ultrasoun
 d and Contrast Agents.\nThe academic program is complimented by a lar
 ge exhibit area where manufacturers display their latest diagnostic eq
 uipment. Please note that while all meals will be on your own, coffee 
 breaks and the grand reception are held in the exhibit hall, providing
  a great opportunity to shop for a book, learn about new types of supp
 lies, or appraise the latest in ultrasound equipment. Please join us i
