 Leadership for Physician Executives have represented the full range of
  medical specialties and occupied important positions in: group practi
 ces, HMOs, insurance companies, academic departments, public health se
 rvices, hospital administration, clinic administrations, and the milit
 ary. Seminar participants examine the implications of new and differen
 t kinds of power and recognition, changes in ethics and values, and ch
 anges in relationships with colleagues and other healthcare profession
 als. They confront problems in decision making, conflict resolution, o
 rganizational structure, motivation, change?problems previously unrela
 ted to the practice of medicine.\n\nConcepts taught are then applied t
 hrough small-group discussion of actual cases that participants prepar
 e before the seminar. The highly qualified faculty, individual attenti
 on, small-group problem solving, individual case discussions, and oppo
 rtunity to learn from the diverse experience of other physician-partic
 ipants, have made this seminar among the most highly regarded continui
