DESCRIPTION:Introduction to OB-GYN Ultrasound Training Course is taugh
 t by leading OB/GYN ultrasound experts and covers transabdominal and e
 ndovaginal scan techniques, as well as OB applications with a 3:1 facu
 lty to participant hands-on scan ratio. This course is specifically de
 signed for physicians, sonographers and other medical professionals wh
 o need OB/GYN ultrasound training. GCUS offers two (2) day OB/GYN ultr
 asound courses at our facility in St. Petersburg, FL that includes int
 eractive case presentations. The course is held at multiple dates thro
 ughout the year, making it the perfect course for both local participa
 nts and participants traveling to Florida. GCUS offers OB/GYN ultrasou
 nd training as a stand alone two (2) day course, or as part of a week 
 long OB/GYN and abdominal ultrasound training and CME program. In the 
 week long program, participants will learn ultrasound tips, tricks and
  skills for the entire OB/GYN and abdominal region. All topics covered
  are based on AIUM and ACOG guidelines.\nTopics\n\nImaging Fundamental

 tives\n\nIncrease the participants’ knowledge to better perform and/
 or interpret gynecology and obstetrical ultrasound examinations.\nDemo
 nstrate proper transducer manipulation and system optimization to prod
 uc diagnostic images\nDemonstrate routine scan protocols for performin
 g transabdominal & endovaginal GYN scanning, and 1st trimester obstetr
 ic applications.\nState the normal and abnormal imaging characteristic
 s of the ovaries and uterus and differentiate commonly seen pathology.
 \nList the indications and ultrasound findings for suspicion of an ect
 opic pregnancy.\nIdentify normal fetal anatomy and perform biophysical
  profile.\nApply appropriate measurement techniques to assess fetal da
 tes and appropriate fetal development.\nRecognize commonly seen fetal 
 abnormalities and their corresponding ultrasound imaging characteristi
 cs.\nIncrease confidence to incorporate protocols, scan techniques, an
