SUMMARY:Introduction to Musculoskeletal Ultrasound with Optional Inter
 ventional Cadaver Lab
DESCRIPTION:This 2015 live-three-day hands-on MSK Ultrasound course, w
 ith optional interventional cadaver lab, will provide a comprehensive 
 introduction to upper and lower extremity Musculoskeletal sonography. 
 The MSK ultrasound training program is taught by leading MSK ultrasoun
 d experts and includes lectures, live demonstrations, interactive case
  studies, and extensive hands-on scanning, featuring a 3:1 ratio with 
 live models for a realistic training experience.  The MSK ultrasound 
 seminar topics and examination protocols are developed in accordance w
 ith the AIUM MSK Ultrasound practice guidelines.  The participant wil
 l perform MSK ultrasound protocols associated with the shoulder, elbow
 , hand/wrist, knee, hip, ankle and foot.  Special break-out sessions 
 are incorporated for system optimization and MSK ultrasound guided- in
 jection techniques.  The intensive hands-on program provides the trai
 ning needed to begin integrating the skills learned into clinical prac
 tice.  Each participant will receive a course notebook including scan
 ning checklists and examination protocols.  (also meets ARDMS CME re
 quirements for non-MSK specialties).  This MSK ultrasound training s
 eminar provides the perfect balance of a physician’s clinical experi
