 ctives\n\nIncrease the participant’s knowledge to better perform and
 /or interpret Carotid Duplex/Color Flow Imaging ultrasound examination
 s.\nApply knowledge of the anatomy/physiology of the cerebrovascular s
 ystem into the Carotid Duplex examination.\nCite Doppler/color physics
  principles and be able to (sonographers) apply these principles to op
 timize system controls or (physicians) utilize this information for id
 entifying technical errors which may result in misdiagnosis.\nPerform 
 routine scan protocols and Doppler calculations in a complete carotid 
 duplex/color examination.\nDifferentiate normal/abnormal spectral Dopp
 ler/color characteristics.\nList methods for obtaining quantitative in
 formation and state the diagnostic relevance of each measurement.\nCha
 racterize plaque morphology and other pathology associated with cerebr
 al vascular disease.\nPerform Intima-Media Thickness measurements and 
 state the clinical significance as a screening method for cardiovascul
 ar disease.\nIntegrate the information to include and prepare a struct
