  fundamentals for musculoskeletal imaging.\n2. Describe techniques and
  protocols for performing shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, knee, ankle and
  foot ultrasound examinations.\n3. Identify normal anatomy during musc
 uloskeletal ultrasound imaging.\n4. Explain the capabilities and limit
 ations of musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging.\n5. Identify sonographic
  appearance of commonly seen pathology of the shoulder, knee, elbow wr
 ist hand, ankle and foot.\n6. State the indications and benefits of MS
 K ultrasound for sports medicine injuries, physical medicine & rehabil
 itation, and rheumatology applications.\n7. Explain the use of MSK son
 ography for diagnosis and ultrasound-guided interventions.\n8. Discuss
  the indications/findings for MSK hip and spine sonography.\n9. Descri
 be “in-plane” and “out of plane” injection and aspiration tech
 niques.\n10. Increase the participant’s knowledge to better perform 
 and/or interpret MSK U/S examinations.\n11. Apply the information disc
 ussed in a clinical setting, ideally under supervised conditions until
  an acceptable level of proficiency has been achieved.\n12. Perform ul

 kshop to complement participation in the Introduction to MSK Ultrasoun
 d program. Participants will have an opportunity to perform ultrasound
 -guided injection and aspiration techniques on cadaver specimens. The 
 optional session will develop skills, enhance confidence, and minimize
  barriers to integrate these techniques into clinical practice. Regist
 ration is limited to individuals who are registered for the February 2
