 \n\nCourse Itinerary (coming soon)\n\nCourse Objectives:\n\nAt the com
 pletion of the program the participant should be able to:\n\n1. Identi
 fy the anatomy/physiology of the upper and lower extremity venous syst
 ems.\n2. Discuss Doppler/color physics and be able to (sonographers) a
 pply these principles to optimize system controls or (physicians) util
 ize this information for recognizing technical errors which may result
  in misdiagnosis.\n3. Perform routine scan protocols and document Dopp
 ler waveforms for venous evaluations of the lower extremity for DVT an
 d venous insufficiency.\n4. Recognize image characteristics of acute v
 ersus chronic DVT.\n5. Scan superficial vessels and perforators to rul
 e in venous insufficiency and to determine if the patient is at risk f
 or revascularization of a ligated vein.\n6. Increase the participant's
  knowledge to better perform and/or interpret lower extremity venous e
 valuation for vein closure procedures.\n7. Apply the information discu
 ssed in a clinical setting, under supervised conditions until an accep
