  RVT, FSVU, prior to attending the course.\n\nIn addition to the regis
 tration confirmation e-mail, an e-mail for logging in to the pre-recor
 ded webinar will be sent out two weeks prior to the program start date
 . Course participants will have access to the webinar up to two weeks

 ectives:\n\nAt the completion of the program the participant should be
  able to:\n\n1. Identify the anatomy/physiology of the upper and lower
  extremity venous systems.\n2. Discuss Doppler/color physics and be ab
 le to (sonographers) apply these principles to optimize system control
 s or (physicians) utilize this information for recognizing technical e
 rrors which may result in misdiagnosis.\n3. Perform routine scan proto
 cols and document Doppler waveforms for venous evaluations of the lowe
 r extremity for DVT and venous insufficiency.\n4. Recognize image char
 acteristics of acute versus chronic DVT.\n5. Scan superficial vessels 
 and perforators to rule in venous insufficiency and to determine if th
 e patient is at risk for revascularization of a ligated vein.\n6. Incr
 ease the participant's knowledge to better perform and/or interpret lo
 wer extremity venous evaluation for vein closure procedures.\n7. Apply
  the information discussed in a clinical setting, under supervised con
 ditions until an accepted level of proficiency has been achieved.\n\nC
