DESCRIPTION:At the completion of the program the participant should be
  able to:\n\nIncrease the participant’s knowledge to better perform 
 and/or interpret Echocardiography examinations.\nDemonstrate proper tr
 ansducer manipulation and system optimization to produce diagnostic im
 ages (sonographer) and recognize potential imaging errors. (Physician)
 \nDemonstrate routine scan protocols to evaluate an adult patient usin
 g 2D/M-Mode/Color Flow & Doppler echocardiographic techniques and demo
 nstrate appropriate measurements. Identify normal/abnormal characteris
 tics of 2D cardiac anatomy and explain the role of cardiac Doppler and
  the necessary qualitative/quantitative measurements.\nIdentify the ul
 trasound findings associated with valvular heart disease, cardiomyopat
 hies, ischemic heart disease,pericardial disease and cardiac masses.\n
 List the latest imaging techniques in quantification of right and left
  ventricle wall motion. Document findings and apply standarized guidel
 ines during complilation of an Echocardiography worksheet (sonographer
 ) and dictated report (Physician).\nList the steps necessary for syste
 m optimization during contrast echo imaging.\nIncrease competence to i
 ncorporate protocols, techniques & interpretation criteria to improve
