 d emerging breast imaging techniques for clinicians to provide their p
 atients with both early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. The 
 emphasis will be on the macroscopic histology and pathology, correlate
 d with the sonographic appearance of benign and malignant abnormalitie
 s (contrasted with pattern recognition techniques). Sessions will be a
 ugmented by a three-stage learning process of (1) conventional didacti
 c format (with PowerPoint slides and illustrative images); (2) simulat
 ed real-time scanning review (checkpoints) of selected sessions with h
 igh-resolution cine presentations on computer workstations (one for ev
 ery two attendees); (3) extended hands-on workshops, during which atte
 ndees will work at their own pace under mentoring by the faculty. The 
 Course will also incorporate material on supplementary screening breas
 t ultrasound and new developments in breast ultrasound.\n\nWho Should
