  and how each acquires and image.\nCharacteristics of digital acquisit
 ion systems. Image accession, initial processing, and final processing
 . The relationship between radiographic exposure and image appearance.
 \nThe appropriate processing steps and the errors that may occur. Acqu
 isition precautions.\nMyths and fallacies about digital acquisition. A
 ppropriate selection of technical factors. Evaluation of digital image
 s compared to screen/film images. Using cues to adjust technical facto
 rs and establish proper technique guides. Limiting patient exposure/do
 se.\n\nThis seminar provides 8 hours of Category A continuing educatio
 n credit for radiologic technologists recognized by the ARRT and vario
 us licensure states. A certificate of attendance will be provided for 
 each individual upon completion of the course. All attendees must atte
