 ch acquires and image.\nCharacteristics of digital acquisition systems
 . Image accession, initial processing, and final processing. The relat
 ionship between radiographic exposure and image appearance. The approp
 riate processing steps and the errors that may occur. Acquisition prec
 autions\nMyths and fallacies about digital acquisition. Appropriate se
 lection of technical factors. Evaluation of digital images compared to
  screen/film images. Using cues to adjust technical factors and establ
 ish proper technique guides. Limiting patient exposure/dose.\n\nThis s
 eminar provides 8 hours of Category A continuing education credit for 
 radiologic technologists recognized by the ARRT and various licensure 
 states. A certificate of attendance will be provided for each individu
 al upon completion of the course. All attendees must attend the entire
