 f digital detectors employed for radiography and how each acquires and
  image. Characteristics of digital acquisition systems. Image accessio
 n, initial processing, and final processing. The relationship between 
 radiographic exposure and image appearance.\nThe appropriate processin
 g steps and the errors that may occur. Acquisition precautions.\nMyths
  and fallacies about digital acquisition. Appropriate selection of tec
 hnical factors. Evaluation of digital images compared to screen/film i
 mages. Using cues to adjust technical factors and establish proper tec
 hnique guides. Limiting patient exposure/dose.\n\nThis seminar provide
 s 8 hours of Category A continuing education credit for radiologic tec
 hnologists recognized by the ARRT and various licensure states. A cert
 ificate of attendance will be provided for each individual upon comple
 tion of the course. All attendees must attend the entire course to rec
