 of digital detectors employed for radiography and how each acquires an
 d image.\nCharacteristics of digital acquisition systems. Image access
 ion, initial processing, and final processing. The relationship betwee
 n radiographic exposure and image appearance. The appropriate processi
 ng steps and the errors that may occur. Acquisition precautions.\nMyth
 s and fallacies about digital acquisition. Appropriate selection of te
 chnical factors. Evaluation of digital images compared to screen/film 
 images. Using cues to adjust technical factors and establish proper te
 chnique guides. Limiting patient exposure/dose.\n\nThis seminar provid
 es 8 hours of Category A continuing education credit for radiologic te
 chnologists recognized by the ARRT and various licensure states. A cer
 tificate of attendance will be provided for each individual upon compl
 etion of the course. All attendees must attend the entire course to re
