 directly or indirectly image the structure/function/pharmacology of th
 e brain.  It is a relatively new discipline within medicine and neuro
  science psychology and provides a new perspective on techniques and m
 ethods being used ito investigate the criminal mind.  With the availa
 bility of these neuroimaging techniques, researchers have begun to loc
 alize brain areas that may be dysfunctional in offenders who are aggre
 ssive and violent. This one of a kind course will begins with an intro
 duction into the evolution of neuroimaging and psychiatry to set the s
 tage for modern imaging methods.  You will also explore what neurosci
 ence tells us about evil and the age old question “Are criminal mind
