 OP\n\n* To guide development of a clinical image-guided ablation servi
 ce.\n* To inform practice and appropriate case selection, setting imag
 e-guided ablation in the context of other treatments in particular for
  hepatocellular carcinoma and metastatic colorectal cancer in the live
 r.\n* To familiarise delegates with currently available ablation equip
 ment from a range of manufacturers so as to obtain optimal results in 
 the clinical setting.\n* To understand the current limitations of imag
 e-guidance and learn new techniques and manoeuvres to enhance the outc
 omes and applicability of image-guided ablation.\n* To describe imagin
 g assessment of ablation and appropriate follow-up procedures.\n\nWork
 shop spaces will be limited and presentations will encourage interacti
 on so as to enhance the lessons learnt. The faculty is drawn from radi
 ologists, surgeons and oncologists with an extensive experience in the
  limitations and potential of image-guided ablation. Information and p
 ractical skills will be provided in several formats:\n\nInteractive pr
 esentations concerning development of practice and state-of-the-art IG
 A setting the techniques in the context of other interventions and the
 rapies.\nPractical demonstrations of ablation equipment and image-guid
 ance techniques by manufacturers and leading users.\nVideo case discus
 sions.\n\nLEARNING OBJECTIVES\n\n* To enhance an abdominal image-guide
 d ablation practice both in terms of scope and improved clinical outco
 mes.\n* To equip delegates with an improved understanding of ablation 
 equipment and technique.\n* To set image-guided ablation in an appropr
