 nMEETING DESCRIPTION:\nAt the completion of the program the participan
 t should be able to:\n\n1. Identify and analyze the basics of cardiac 
 anatomy/physiology.\n2. Perform a routine 2D/M-Mode/Doppler (pulsed-wa
 ve, continuous wave and Color Flow imaging) echocardiographic examinat
 ion and appropriate measurements.\n3. Identify normal/abnormal charact
 eristics of 2D cardiac anatomy and explain the role of cardiac Doppler
  and the necessary qualitative/quantitative measurements.\n4. Discuss 
 the ultrasound findings associated with valvular heart disease, cardio
 myopathies, ischemic heart disease (CAD), pericardial disease and card
 iac masses.\n5. Assess cardiac Doppler/color indications, applications
 , normal/abnormal waveform characteristics, Doppler measurements and c
 olor characteristics in the adult patient.\n6. Apply the information d
 iscussed in a clinical setting, under supervised conditions, until an 
 accepted level of proficiency has been achieved.\n7. Increase knowledg
 e and confidence to perform and/or interpret examinations.\n\n\nINSTRU
