 SCRIPTION:\nAt the completion of the program the participant should be
  able to:\n\n1. Identify and analyze the basics of cardiac anatomy/phy
 siology.\n2. Perform a routine 2D/M-Mode/Doppler (pulsed-wave, continu
 ous wave and Color Flow imaging) echocardiographic examination and app
 ropriate measurements.\n3. Identify normal/abnormal characteristics of
  2D cardiac anatomy and explain the role of cardiac Doppler and the ne
 cessary qualitative/quantitative measurements.\n4. Discuss the ultraso
 und findings associated with valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies,
  ischemic heart disease (CAD), pericardial disease and cardiac masses.
 \n5. Assess cardiac Doppler/color indications, applications, normal/ab
 normal waveform characteristics, Doppler measurements and color charac
 teristics in the adult patient.\n6. Apply the information discussed in
  a clinical setting, under supervised conditions, until an accepted le
 vel of proficiency has been achieved.\n7. Increase knowledge and confi
