 ING DESCRIPTION:\nAt the completion of the program the participant sho
 uld be able to:\n\n1. Identify and analyze the basics of cardiac anato
 my/physiology.\n2. Perform a routine 2D/M-Mode/Doppler (pulsed-wave, c
 ontinuous wave and Color Flow imaging) echocardiographic examination a
 nd appropriate measurements.\n3. Identify normal/abnormal characterist
 ics of 2D cardiac anatomy and explain the role of cardiac Doppler and 
 the necessary qualitative/quantitative measurements.\n4. Discuss the u
 ltrasound findings associated with valvular heart disease, cardiomyopa
 thies, ischemic heart disease (CAD), pericardial disease and cardiac m
 asses.\n5. Assess cardiac Doppler/color indications, applications, nor
 mal/abnormal waveform characteristics, Doppler measurements and color 
 characteristics in the adult patient.\n6. Apply the information discus
 sed in a clinical setting, under supervised conditions, until an accep
 ted level of proficiency has been achieved.\n7. Increase knowledge and
  confidence to perform and/or interpret examinations.\n\nINSTRUCTORS:\
