 er Webpage   Description:Ultrasound is playing an increasingly importa
 nt role in gynecology. Applications of Gynecological ultrasound includ
 e general screening of women who are currently or have previously expe
 rienced menopause, and special diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, 
 such as ovarian cyst aspirations and sonohysterograms (evaluation of t
 he internal surface of the uterus). Gynecologic ultrasound provides vi
 sualization of the uterus and ovaries that may add important additiona
 l information not demonstrated using other imaging methods or with phy
 sical exam findings.\nYou will leave this course with a thorough under
 standing of this modality. Model demonstrations and hands-on scanning 
 will present opportunities to have specific questions answered. The ad
 dition of Doppler to the study will allow inclusion of several patholo
