 nsive introduction to the science and practice of fetal echocardiograp
 hy.\n\nThe course will provide an understanding of the unique requirem
 ents of fetal echo in the diagnosis of structural malformations of the
  heart and will also include the use of pulsed, continuous wave, and c
 olor Doppler as well as M-mode in fetal cardiovascular diagnosis. Find
 ings from the ultrasonographic/Doppler assessment of fetal cardiovascu
 lar physiology will be related to the pre- and postnatal management of
  congenital heart disease. Throughout the program the clinical importa
 nce of observations made during the fetal echo exam will be detailed.\
