 logies are available. It is necessary for the technologist in the mode
 rn radiology department to become familiar with the technical principl
 es, image quality metrics, radiation exposure issues and picture archi
 ving and communication systems as the use of digital radiography expan
 ds. This seminar will provide imaging professionals with an excellent 
 opportunity to refresh their knowledge on computerized imaging, detect
 or technology, image acquisition techniques and processing, radiation 
 safety and quality control.\n\nThis program provides 8 hours of Catego
 ry A continuing education credit for radiologic technologists recogniz
