 MEETING DESCRIPTION:\nFull Field Digital Mammography (FFDM) holds prom
 ise to improve a host of new imaging applications for your breast imag
 ing practice. FFDM will improve image quality, increase patient flow, 
 decrease patient dose and reduce retakes. The advantages of this new t
 echnology account for the proliferation of commercial FFDM units in th
 e clinical setting.\nThis seminar provides an opportunity to learn fro
 m an experienced faculty about this new technology and its appropriate
  utilization in a breast imaging practice. Practical considerations fo
 r making the transition to digital imaging will be emphasized, and new
  applications that are facilitated by the digital image format will be
  reviewed.\n\nThe Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requires 8 
 hours of training on FFDM before operating these units. Attending this
  seminar fulfills this requirement.\n\nThis seminar provides 8.5 hours
  of Category A continuing education credit for radiologic technologist
 s recognized by the ARRT and various licensure states. It also provide
 s 8 hours of training in digital mammography as a new modality as requ
 ired by MQSA. A certificate of attendance will be provided for each in
 dividual upon completion of the course. Attendees must attend the enti
