  digital mammography application that is expected to show an increase 
 in breast cancer detection and reduce call back rates. The day is fill
 ed with interesting new information on Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (D
 BT). We will investigate the DBT technology, mammography technologist 
 quality control testing, clinical applications and more. While 2D mamm
 ography has its benefits over analog there is still the issue of super
 imposed tissue which can obscure structures. This unique modality demo
 nstrates breast tissue without overlying structures by imaging the bre
 ast in thin cross sectional slices. You don’t want to miss this day 
 of education and get in on the ground floor of knowledge regarding thi
 s fascinating new modality. Digital Breast Tomosynthesis is a new moda
 lity under MQSA which requires personnel to receive 8 hours of initial
  training before performing this clinical examination. This seminar pr
 ovides 8 hours of initial training in digital breast tomosynthesis for
  technologists as required by MQSA. Physicians are welcome to attend a
 nd recieve 8 Category 1 credits however the MQSA requirements for phys
 icians in this modality are specific to interpretation. Physicians mus
