  course, the physician should:\n\nBe familiar with the varying appeara
 nce of a normal mammogram and how to avoid unnecessary callback.\nâ€¢ 
 Understand the subgroups of in situ and invasive breast cancer.\nâ€¢ H
 ave competence in the differential diagnosis of breast diseases.\nâ€¢ 
 Be able to guide the diagnostic workup using mammogÂ¬raphy, ultrasound
  and perform needle biopsy.\nâ€¢ Be able to analyze the mammographic a
 nd ultrasound image and determine which adjunctive methods will be mos
 t appropriate for each of the subgroups of breast diseases.\nâ€¢ Appre
 ciate the importance of weekly tumor board meetÂ¬ings and cooperation 
 among radiologists, surgeons and pathologists.\nâ€¢ Understand the val
 ue and relationship of the main prognostic factors in order to predict
  the outcome of the disease.\nâ€¢ The technologists having attended th
 e course should be proficient in mammographic technique and understand
  the rationale of mammographic workup in order to be a valuable member
