 nd communications.  Imaging Informatics activities have increased as 
 healthcare providers recognize the urgent need for strategic informati
 on management and the inadequacies of traditional medical imaging info
 rmation storage, retrieval, and analysis tools. You will learn theory 
 as well as analyze the skill sets required to keep pace with the rapid
  evolution of computer based technologies involved in imaging informat

 A committee that developed the  Certified Imaging Informatics Profess
 ional (CIIP) curriculum for the American Board of Imaging Informatics 
 (ABII) registry exam reveals his insights concerning skills required a
 nd strategy choices for imaging informatics professionals.  Prior to 
 being asked by the Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine to help 
 write the curricula for CIIP certification he developed and taught inf
 ormatics for Advanced Health Education Center’s PACS Administrator P
