nThe technology of medical imaging\nhas undergone a tremendous change
since the Nobel prize-winning development of computed tomography. Beco
ming knowledgeable about high technology imaging is essential for the
radiologic technologist to grow with the field.\n\nThis course will pr
ovide technologists with the opportunity to learn this technology and
become part of the evolution toward electronic computerized imaging. T
his is an opportunity to improve your technical knowledge and prepare
for the ARRT CT Registry Examination. If you are looking to enhance yo
ur job opportunities or provide yourself with\na more satisfying work
experience,\nthen this course is for you.\n\nThis course is appropriat

of computed tomography.\n• incorporate scanning techniques\n• lea
rned to best demonstrate\n• anatomy and pathology.\n• describe tec
hniques in manipulating\n• CT parameters to optimize\n• image qual
ity.\n• recognize CT artifacts and describe techniques to minimize t
heir\n• occurrence.\n• compare the advantages and disadvantages of
  various CT\n• scanner configurations.\n\nFaculty\n\nDoug Simpkin, P
hD\nChristine Eckenrod, RT(R)(CT)(MR)\n\nExtended Clinical Training Pr

articipation. Various clinical training locations around Milwaukee, WI
are arranged on an individual basis. Click here to email Bridgett in
MTMI's Education Department to learn more about and to arrange for the
Clinical Training Program. Space is limited for this training. The co

se you will be given a course syllabus containing all the course mater
 ial.\nIn addition we recommend these books:\n\n\"Computed Tomography\"
,\n\"Sectional Anatomy for Imaging Professionals\",\n\"Pocket Atlas of
CT Volume I\",\n\"Pocket Atlas of CT Volume II\", and\n\"Pocket Atlas
