 anced Health Education Center offers clinical fellowship rotations as 
 an enhancement to the preceding theory course in the selected modality
 . AHEC offers clinical fellowships to registered radiographers (RT, R)
  In the modalities of Mammography, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Reson
 ance Imaging and Cardiovascular Radiography. Fellowships are conducted

 are facilities. The length of clinical fellowship training will vary b
 y the modality selected. **No CE credit is awarded for clinical hours.
  In order to receive a certificate documenting clinical attendance, te
 chnologists must return their timesheet and copies of their clinical c
 ompetency forms to the AHEC office via mail or fax to the attention of
  the respective fellowship coordinator. Modality Information MRI, CT, 
 CV Clinical Fellowship: 40 hours of clinical rotations (Monday-Friday)
  each week will give the technologist the opportunity to experience a 
 wide array of exams, be tutored by experienced advanced modality profe
 ssionals who provide insights, advice, and help you get the most out o
 f your training. Also, clinical fellowships will allow technologists t
 he opportunity to accrue some of their clinical experience (competenci
 es) for preparation for advanced modality examinations. Clinical rotat
 ions are based on a per week registration by the technologist. It is s
 trongly recommended attendance in clinical rotations be for the full w
 eeks offered. Register early; there is a limited number of clinical si
 tes available. It will enhance clinical experience if technologists co
 mmunicate their goals related to clinical training to the fellowship c
 oordinator. If you have specific requests regarding equipment preferen
 ce and/or software, please contact the AHEC clinical fellowship coordi
 nator related to these modalities. MRI, CT, and CV Fellowship Coordina
 tor: Rebecca Adams, RT,(R)(CV)(BD)(CBDT)-Program Manager Computed Tomo
 graphy Fellowship Clinical: (1-2 week option) Technologists are placed
  with an emphasis on providing experience when available on a CT syste
 m with the manufacturer, software and angiography needs requested. CT 
 fellowship clinicals will provide 40-80 hours of CT training. Clinical
  Fellowship Requirements Clinical Fellowship requires enrolled technol
 ogists to meet hospital and imaging center requirements as required by
  affiliation agreements and education departments. The following infor
 mation must be submitted to obtain a clinical site rotation assignment
 . Fellowship coordinators will contact enrolled technologists in advan
 ce of clinical rotations to secure appropriate documentation. Reliable
  email and/or telephone contact Information must be provided at time o
 f registration for the class. Failure to provide correct information w
 ill result in delay or failure of clinical placement. Required informa
 tion must be provided a minimum of three weeks prior to the first day
