DESCRIPTION:CT Colonography\n\nCourse Overview\n\nCT Colonography (CTC
 ) is an evolving technique with considerable potential for widespread 
 screening of colo rectal cancer. Application of appropriate techniques
  and knowledge of correct interpretation skills are vital to successfu
 lly implementing this technique. This two-day course’s goal is to ed
 ucate attendees in the technique, performance, and interpretation of C
 TC through the supervised review of a minimum of 50 sample cases. The 
 course will also provide a forum for discussing research initiatives,

 Program Objectives\n\nAt the conclusion of this conference, participan
 ts will be able to:\n\n1. Recognize the techniques necessary to acquir
 e diagnostic CTC images, including patient preparation, scanning param
 eters, and display/navigational methods\n\n2. Review interpretation me
 thods and how to avoid pitfalls\n\n3. Discuss current research initiat
 ives, regulatory issues, and reimbursement environment\n\n4. Acquire t
 he proficiency necessary to interpret and report CTC studies through s
 upervised review of a minimum of 50 cases\n\nAttendees who complete a 
 minimum of 50 cases will be awarded a Certificate of Proficiency stati
 ng they meet the case requirement as specified in the ACR Practice Gui
 deline for the Performance of Computed Tomography Colonography in Adul
