 ependently and is an excellent choice for an experienced CT technologi
 st searching for a good CE course. Emphasis will be in the clinical ap
 plications of computed tomography as they pertain to radiation safety,
  patient care, contrast media, imaging procedures and protocols. Radia
 tion Safety is a \"hot topic\" in CT imaging today and you will receiv
 e the most updated information, as well as what you can do as a techno
 logist to minimize your patient's exposure.\nCase studies will be used
  to provide a comprehensive review of general protocols, scanography, 
 slice orientation, IV contrast, Slice thickness and range, kernel and 
 display factors, and normal vs. abnormal studies of the commonly perfo
 rmed CT procedures. The day will conclude with a look into the more ad
 vanced computed tomography technology and applications of Cardiac, Per
