 ription: The principle objective of this program is to educate critica
 l care physicians and other health professionals on how to perform and
  interpret ultrasound exams in the critical care setting. Gulfcoast Ul
 trasound Institute’s Critical Care Ultrasound course offers a compre
 hensive hands-on approach to evaluate conditions including AAA/dissect
 ion, thoracentesis, pericardiocentesis, pneumothorax and DVT among oth
 ers. The program faculty will help the clinicians recognize imaging ch
 aracteristics of commonly seen cases in critical care, and help guide 
 treatment based on the ultrasound findings. The strong hands-on compon
 ent of this course and its low participant-to-instructor ratio (3:1) o
 ffer ample time scanning on a variety of live models.\n\nVenue: The pr
