 aspx\n\nMEETING DESCRIPTION:\nAdvanced imaging tools for cardiac CT im
 aging are developing rapidly. This course is designed to enhance your 
 clinical practice skills by providing intense training in interpreting
  coronary CTA examinations under the supervision of expert faculty. Pa
 rticipants use workstations with vendor software the same as in their 
 own practice. Most cases include clinical scenarios as well as coronar
 y catheter angiography correlation. The course also covers technical c
 onsiderations for obtaining optimal examinations for interpretation, u
 sing scanner simulation technology.\n\nAt the conclusion of this confe
 rence, participants will be able to:\n\n1. Identify normal cardiac ana
 tomy, including coronary arteries, coronary veins, cardiac chambers, v
 alves, and great vessels, as well as identify and describe the clinica
 l importance of variant anatomy\n\n2. Describe basic technical aspects
  of coronary CT, including prospective versus retrospective gating, si
 ngle-cycle versus multicycle reconstruction, temporal resolution, spat
 ial resolution, scan parameters, and contrast-injection techniques\n\n
 3. Determine appropriate technique for administering beta blockers and
  nitroglycerin, with knowledge of absolute and relative contraindicati
 ons\n\n4. Identify and describe how to improve examinations with artif
 acts, such as cardiac arrhythmias, ECG misregistration, and poor breat
 h hold\n\n5. Describe the use of different post-processing techniques 
 based on the appropriate clinical indication, including axial source i
 mages, multiplanar reconstructions, maximum intensity projections, and
