  imaging are developing rapidly. This course is designed to enhance yo
 ur clinical practice skills by providing intense training in interpret
 ing coronary CTA examinations under the supervision of expert faculty.
  Participants use workstations with vendor software the same as in the
 ir own practice. Most cases include clinical scenarios as well as coro
 nary catheter angiography correlation. The course also covers technica
 l considerations for obtaining optimal examinations for interpretation
 , using scanner simulation technology.\n\nAt the conclusion of this co
 nference, participants will be able to:\n\n1. Identify normal cardiac 
 anatomy, including coronary arteries, coronary veins, cardiac chambers
 , valves, and great vessels, as well as identify and describe the clin
 ical importance of variant anatomy\n\n2. Describe basic technical aspe
 cts of coronary CT, including prospective versus retrospective gating,
  single-cycle versus multicycle reconstruction, temporal resolution, s
 patial resolution, scan parameters, and contrast-injection techniques\
 n\n3. Determine appropriate technique for administering beta blockers 
 and nitroglycerin, with knowledge of absolute and relative contraindic
 ations\n\n4. Identify and describe how to improve examinations with ar
 tifacts, such as cardiac arrhythmias, ECG misregistration, and poor br
 eath hold\n\n5. Describe the use of different post-processing techniqu
 es based on the appropriate clinical indication, including axial sourc
 e images, multiplanar reconstructions, maximum intensity projections,
