 that work best for you and your schedule. Maximize your time away from
  the workplace and enroll for a combined course in Abdominal Ultrasoun
 d + OB three day. The focus of this six day course is to provide parti
 cipants with the “need to know” information to efficiently and eff
 ectively complete a general abdominal and basic OB ultrasound procedur
 e. The first three days of the course is the presentation of the basic
  ultrasound techniques involved in completing an abdominal ultrasound 
 series and general handling of the ultrasound device. The course compr
 ises an introduction to normal ultrasound anatomy of the abdominal org
 ans, followed by lecture presentations of the common pathologic change
 s encountered in a diagnostic procedure. The OB course includes evalua
 tion of the non-gravid pelvis, fetal measurements and the ultrasound a
 ppearance of fetal anomalies. Lecture is followed each day by a facult
 y supervised hands on ultrasound scan lab. The Interactive scan lab wi
 th live models and small groups allow each participant ample opportuni
 ty to gain the knowledge and skill needed to independently perform a b
