 l and OB ultrasound allow you the flexibility to pick and choose the t
 raining options that work best for you and your schedule. Maximize you
 r time away from the workplace and enroll for a combined course in Abd
 ominal Ultrasound + OB three day. The focus of this six day course is 
 to provide participants with the “need to know” information to eff
 iciently and effectively complete a general abdominal and basic OB ult
 rasound procedure.  The first three days of the course is the present
 ation of the basic ultrasound techniques involved in completing an abd
 ominal ultrasound series and general handling of the ultrasound device
 .   The course comprises an introduction to normal ultrasound anatom
 y of the abdominal organs, followed by lecture presentations of the co
 mmon pathologic changes encountered in a diagnostic procedure.  The O
 B course includes evaluation of the non-gravid pelvis, fetal measureme
 nts and the ultrasound appearance of fetal anomalies.  Lecture is fol
 lowed each day by a faculty supervised hands on ultrasound scan lab. 
  The Interactive scan lab with live models and small groups allow each
  participant ample opportunity to gain the knowledge and skill needed 
 to independently perform a basic abdominal ultrasound procedure.\n\nFo
