DESCRIPTION:The Carotid Duplex/Color Flow Imaging and Transcranial Dop
 pler hands-on course is a live, five-day program designed to provide a
  strong foundation to perform and/or interpret carotid and transcrania
 l ultrasound examinations. The Carotid Duplex/Color Flow Imaging and T
 ranscranial Doppler hands-on ultrasound training is taught by leading 
 vascular specialists and includes lectures, interactive case studies, 
 pathology simulation, and extensive hands on scanning featuring a 3:1 
 hands-on ratio using live models. Program topics include anatomy/physi
 ology, scan protocols/techniques, and normal & abnormal duplex/color f
 low characteristics of the carotid and transcranial vasculature. Over 
 80 case studies will be presented. The Carotid and TCD/TCI Ultrasound 
 protocols are taught in accordance with AIUM and IAC guidelines. This
  intensive hands-on carotid duplex/color flow and transcranial imaging
  program provides the training needed to immediately begin integrating
