DESCRIPTION:The six-day hands-on Abdominal/Family Medicine – OB-GYN 
 ultrasound course is structured with lectures, interactive case studie
 s and hands-on training to provide participants with a strong foundati
 on to perform the ultrasound examinations as outlined in the AIUM ultr
 asound practice guidelines. Generous hands-on scanning is provided fea
 turing a 3:1 ratio with live models for abdominal, transabdominal GYN,
  OB, and endovaginal GYN applications. Topics include liver, gallblad
 der/biliary system, renal, abdominal aorta, spleen, testicular and thy
 roid ultrasound.  Specialty break-out sessions include trauma ultraso
 und (FAST exam), Soft-tissue applications or Evaluation of Renal Arter
 y Stenosis.   OB-GYN topics include scan protocols/techniques, GYN a
 natomy & pathology, first trimester evaluation, fetal anatomy, fetal b
 iometry, biophysical profile, fetal heart screening, fetal abnormaliti
 es and much more.This unique hands-on abdominal/OB-GYN ultrasound trai
 ning program is taught by leading ultrasound expert physicians and son
