 neral or subspecialist radiologist or clinicians with an interest in i
 maging. It will serve as a review of relevant General Radiology topics
  in a case-based interactive format. It has been designed to prepare t
 he participant to better understand current imaging of the musculoskel
 etal system, the brain and spinal cord, the abdomen and pelvis and the
  heart and lungs. The primary focus will be to provide information tha

  this course, participants should be able to:\n-list key imaging featu
 res of diseases affecting the ankle, knee, pelvis and hip, shoulder an
 d wrist\n-select the ideal imaging techniques for imaging musculoskele
 tal infections\n-provide a useful imaging assessment of the brain, nec
 k and spine\n-select the ideal imaging techniques for the diagnosis an
 d management of acute neurovascular emergencies\n-describe a broad ran
 ge of diagnostically challenging pathologies occurring in the abdomen 
 and pelvis including common look-alikes\n-provide a differential diagn
 osis of lesions in the mediastinum and pleura\n-describe a useful appr
 oach to the differential diagnosis of the solitary lung nodule, pulmon
 ary infection and diffuse lung disease\n-understand the usefulness of 
 CT and MR imaging of the heart\n\nAccreditation\n\nThe University of O
 ttawa's Office of Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the Co
 mmittee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME) to pr
 ovide accredited CME activities for family physicians and specialists.
  This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as de
 fined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College
  of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for up to 16 credits. Through an
  agreement with the U.S. Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical 
 Education, it is also accredited for 16 hours of Category 1 credits to
 wards the Physicians' Recognition Award of the American Medical Associ
 ation.(AMA).\n\nTechnologists Credit\nThe sponsor will be submitting a
  request to the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologist
 s (CAMRT) for credit approval for all sessions related to technologist
 s\n\nRegistration Fees\nRegistration fees are $950 CAD for the entire 
 4 day-meeting and $550 CAD for residents, fellows, techs, and physicia
 ns residing outside of North America. Iceland radiologists are encoura
 ged to register at the discounted rate. You will realize a large disco
 unt ($150) if you sign up for the entire 4-day meeting.\n\nCancellatio
