 e many recent technological advances in imaging techniques which can b
 e applied in current clinical practice. Maintenance of certification r
 equires continued review of essential imaging techniques in all areas 
 of radiology, including body imaging, PET/CT, musculoskeletal imaging 
 and cardiac imaging. This course is designed to demonstrate a practica
 l approach to image interpretation. The lectures are intended to reinf
 orce how imaging data and clinical findings can be used together to na
 rrow a differential diagnosis and aid in patient care. The course will
  present topics on MRI of the elbow, hip and spine, liver lesions, cor
 onary CTA, MDCT, PET/CT, pancreatic imaging and trauma imaging.\n\nEdu
 cational Objectives\n\nDiscuss the use of CT as the primary technique 
 for the evaluation of abdominal pain, as well as the expanding role of
  US and MRI.\n\nBased on concern with regard to cardiac CT imaging pro
 tocols and radiation dose, describe measures to reduce radiation dose 
 while retaining diagnostic image quality.\n\nCreate strategies to inco
 rporate the latest imaging techniques and protocols for MR Imaging of 
 the hip, elbow and spine, as well as soft tissue tumors\n\nBased on ev
 olving technology, describe the advancing utilization of PET/CT in dia
 gnosis, initial and subsequent treatment of malignancies.\n\nUsing the
  latest MDCT scanning techniques, efficiently evaluate the multiply in
 jured trauma patient, including the pregnant patient, thereby providin
