SUMMARY:Cardiac and Peripheral Vascular MR
DESCRIPTION:Course Overview\n\nThis two-and-a-half-day course is desig
 ned to optimize clinical practice skills by providing intense training
  in interpreting cardiac MR examinations under the supervision of expe
 rt faculty.\nParticipants will use a FujiPACS workstations and have ac
 cess to over 50 cardiac MR and vascular MR Angiography cases for revie
 w. Post-processing techniques and interpretation will be emphasized. T
 he course also covers technical considerations for obtaining optimal e
 xaminations for interpretation.\n\nObjectives\n\nImprove understanding
  of:\n1. Normal cardiovascular anatomy and normal anatomic variants.\n
 2. The spectrum of ischemic and non-ischemic cardiomyopathies, includi
 ng function, rest and stress perfusion and viability.\n3. Evaluation o
 f pericardial constriction, cardiac masses, valvular disease, pulmonar
 y veins and cardiac shunts.\n4. New techniques such as Coronary MR Ang
 iography and assessment of area at risk and myocardial edema with T2W 
 imaging.\n5. Vascular MRA including: Aorta, renal, carotid, visceral a
 nd peripheral vessels\n6. Imaging manifestations of cardiovascular dis
 ease, and the complementary role of MRI to echocardiography, CT and ca
 rdiac catheterization in therapeutic decision-making.\n7. The technica
 l basis of cardiovascular MRI, including hardware requirements, sequen
 ce selection and optimization, and technical limitations.\n8. Post-pro
 cessing techniques for functional, flow and angiographic evaluation.\n
 9. Provide a forum for sharing knowledge of ongoing technical and clin
 ical developments in the field of Cardiovascular MRI.\n\nFor more info
