 s seminar can be used as an aid in preparing for both ARDMS an ARRT re
 gistry exams. It will provide an opportunity to learn ultrasound imagi
 ng techniques and to upgrade your skills in this increasingly demandin
 g role. Ultrasound has proven to be a very valuable and cost-effective
  tool for visualizing cystic and solid structures in the breast. Ultra
 sound provides a complementary imaging technique to mammography and to
 gether they provide improved detection of breast cancer. Special knowl
 edge and skill is needed to fully utilize the capabilities of breast u
 ltrasound. This seminar will provide increased knowledge of the techni
 cal and clinical aspects of breast ultrasound and an overview of the b
 asic principles and concepts of ultrasound. Growth in providing full s
 ervice women’s health services includes efficient and thorough ultra
 sound imaging examinations.\n\nThis program provides 8 hours of SDMS c
 ontinuing education credit for sonographers and 8 hours of Category A 
 credit for radiologic technologists. A certificate of attendance will 
 be provided to each individual upon completion of the seminar. Individ
 uals must attend the entire seminar to receive full credit. Credit is 
 awarded for sonographers and radiologic technologists as SDMS or ARRT 
 Category A Credit approved by the SDMS, and credit from various licens
